(UPDATE) FILIPINO tennis star Alex Eala and Mexican partner Renata Zarazua are looking to continue their impressive campaign in the French Open doubles.
After successfully advancing to the Round of 16, the pair are gunning for a spot in the quarterfinals and are determined to give it their all to achieve their goal.
The pair were able to clinch their first win of the event on Tuesday, with a two-set victory over Britain’s Emily Appleton and Spain’s Yvonne Cavalle-Reimers.
They are now set to face the pair of Serbia’s Olga Danilovic, who is ranked 34th and Anastasia Potapova of Russia, who is ranked 37th.
Danilovic and Potapova are also fresh off a three-set upset of the American pair of Desirae Krawczyk and Caroline Dolehide in the first round of the women’s doubles.
