As she prepares for her 2025 US Open main draw debut, tennis superstar and Grand Slam queen Venus Williams has some advice for Filipina tennis sensation Alexandra ‘Alex Eala ‘.
“Just enjoy yourself. When you’re having fun, things are easy. When you’re not, it’s not as much fun. You have to put the fun first,” the tennis icon Williams said in an interview of Inquirer US.

In her main draw debut, Eala will face Danish netter and World No. 15 Clara Tauson of Denmark on Sunday at the USTA Billie Jean Tennis Center in Queens, New York.
The 45-year-old William is also in the tournament and will face 29-year-old Czech netter Karolina Muchova of the Czech Republic on Tuesday, August 26 at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
If Eala and Williams are successful in their campaigns until the Round of 16, there is a chance that they will meet.
