MANILA, Philippines — Philippine tennis star Alex Eala is expected to climb the women’s singles rankings of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
On Saturday’s live ranking, Eala is seen reaching a career high of 64th in the world.
While the website of the WTA shows she is ranked 70th, it is expected that ranking will jump by Monday.
As of this writing, Eala is expected to team up with World No. 3 Coco Gauff in the women’s doubles of the Italian Open.
